This policy covers the ConText Editor website. Your notes stay on your device — we do not collect them.

1. Data Collection

We collect no personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no sync.

• No analytics, tracking, cookies, or fingerprinting
• No ads
• No selling or sharing of your data

2. Local Storage

Your notes, including Trash, are stored in your browser on this device. The app does not upload or sync them. Imports are read locally, and exports and backups are downloaded to a location you choose.

The website host serves the app files only — not your notes. Downloaded backups contain your notes and Trash as unencrypted JSON; keep those files somewhere you trust.

3. Data Deletion

• Move a note to Trash, then choose Delete forever to remove it from the app.
• Clear all notes and Trash by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. Downloaded backups remain until you delete those files separately.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)

Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. You control everything that lives in your browser.
